Falling in love with a colour

Has this ever happened to you? You see a colour and your heart says “aaaah”?

I love all the blue variations so much so that my wardrobe is very monochromatic and full of blues. It was time to introduce some other colours – red for instance. Not Christmas red (which is the reason I had no red – over-exposure to Christmas red ), no thank you. But then I spied KnitPick’s Pallette, colour Lipstick. It’s a curious hue – red, but not red. Red with a spot of what? violet? In the ball it was lovely, but with the sun filtering through it is spectacular

Sitting in the garden, knitting and relishing the summer’s day, I looked around and realised I had seen this colour before.

It seems I had this colour “in my eye’ when I went to the nursery to buy flowers, too.
